Adam Lambert - Time for Miracles

Say what you will about his "commercial/gay/over-the-top" persona, this guy's got world class chops.

I hate everything attached to this vid, 2112, Roland Emerich, Hollywood in general... but this song/performance kicks ass!

So, if you can get past the classic Aerosmith/Armeggedon model the song itself lives up to AL's chops. It does not just seem like standard "frame" for his pipes.

I HAD to find out who wrote it.

"Put on the backburner any feelings you have about the cheese factor of the song — which was written by Alain Johannes and Natasha Shneide – and pay close attention to Adam’s voice. It’s gold. Enough said."

Alain Jonannes touring guitarist for Them Crooked Vultures!

Alain was/is a FANTASTIc guitarist/composer.

In the band Eleven and as a studio/touring musician with QOTSA, Chris Cornell and Ian Thornley.

What a weird connection.

I hope he makes a MINT from the writing royalties.

I know nobody cares, but in overproduced, over-the-top, dying-music-business-machine-world, this is a monster.

"...it was recorded by Green Day/My Chemical Romance superproducer Rob Cavallo and co-written by Alain Johannes of Eleven/Spinnerette/Queens Of The Stone Age and his late partner Natasha Shneider."

Probably gonna get taken down again.

I just hope Alain makes his bones.

Hi BUK!

Well, i care. :) Thanks for sharing this!!--I had NO idea Alain Johannes helped write this song...MOST interesting!!!!!!!! And for a movie song, i actually thought it was quite good. And of course, Adam KILLED the vocals, as he always does. He sounds great!!

PS--and yes, Idol IS one of my guilty pleasures. Thanks to that guilty pleasure, I have an addiction to David Cook, too...like I needed any more after Zeppelin, Bowie, etc.... LOL!! :)

David Bowie called. He wants his schtick back. I'm all for people doing what they want and expressing themselves artistically however they want, but Mr. Lambert should be made aware that this "glam rock" image/sound has been done before and done better. So he shouldn't expect much, in other words.
