greenman
I don't think the original studio version has quite been matched but I'd agree the O2 version was one of the best live performances. I always felt that in the 70's Kasmir wasnt that well suited to live Zep. The studio version is all about sonic perfection(which was still not always possible live at the time) and playing steadly for the song where as live the band was all about intensity and improv. Tracks like TU and IMTOD from PG were much more sucessful in a live enviroment for me because they played to those strenghts.
pujols05
I find myself favoring the versions from '75 just a bit. 2-12-75 is amazing (Flying Circus). 5-25 at Earl's Court is excellent as well.
zepps_apprentice
my favorite part of live Kashmir (Knebworth) is when robert goes "oooooohhhh yeah..baby ive been..." etc
Ledzep101
I also really like the knebworth performance with kashmir booming through white summer/black mountain side but nobody has mentioned the o2 performance which i cant believe. I thought it was great with robert screaming out the oooooooooooooooos!
