Tiny Terror Combo

Recommended Posts

Yes folks, it is a beast & it is loud.

For home, studio & even small gigs the TT is a simple great sounding amp.

The only real problem with it is that because it produces such a great overdriven tone at relatively polite volumes, the clean headroom is a little lacking. For some people that won't be a problem, but if you are one of those "clean amp + pedals" guys (like, well, me for example ;) ) then it probably won't be loud enough for gigging.

Just as well that Orange have just produced the Dual Terror - a 30 watt version :D

Other big pluses - it's small & it's light.

no experience with that particular model, but based on my experience with other amps they make it's probably a beast

The guy demoing it in this video is not doing a very good job at comparing setting's but, he does use both a Fender and a Gibson, so you can get a good idea on how it will perform over all.

Sound's fuzzy (in a good way)to me, if you like that type of sound or if your looking for that sound it's great. And yeah, 15 watt's of class A is like 30 or so watt's of a slower reacting amp.

What kind of sound are you looking for?
