sailor86
Does anybody know where to find footage of Jimmy and the gang working in the studio?
The Pagemeister
You are possibly out of luck. I've not seen any footage or heard of any footage that exists. They were not like the Beatles or Stones, where they would film everything they did. Would have been cool to at least have even a short piece of film in the studio, but I don't think it's out there. BonzoLikeDrumer
I've seen a few still images but no video, there is the footage of the guy's lip-syncing on this site but I don't think that is what your asking about.
Administrators sam_webmaster Posted January 17, 2010 Administrators Share Posted January 17, 2010 There's some film of Jimmy at his home studio in 1973 (some clips shown in the Travelling Riverside Blues promo), and footage of John Bonham and JPJ in the studio recording Paul McCartney's "Rockestra" album in 1978. That's about it for Zep-era. ledzeppelin.com/video/travelling-riverside-blues-promo

Hmm... just some super short clip's of the studio, well, there must be at least a bit more of the one with Jimmy Page playing the guitar, but it just hasn't been released to the public. BlackDog71
I also have mostly seen still images. They always fought shy of the cameras, but if there is footage of them in the studios, i would be excited to see it. It would be great to get a first hand account of how they made the most amazing music ever.

fsmith9095
There repotedly is 4 minutes of footage of the band recording LZ II in the studio in 69. Rumor has it that it was passed within limited trading circles a few years ago. This would be a Holy Grail of all Holy Grails if it ever was released.
