That looks like the lobby of the Plaza Hotel in NY - June '77, and there's another shot in circulation of Jimmy & Bonzo still in the limo. I was also thinking it was around SRTS premiere. I also thought that might be Robert. But it also might be Joe as he wears a hat like that and the hair looks dark which couldn't make it Robert. He is wearing the pair of jeans and scarf he wore a lot that year, his face is a bit fuller than it was after the 75 tour and isn't that Cameron Crowe to his left? Hmm...very intriguing. Thank you for posting that Sam. I have never seen the photo. Magenta showed me this picture and I asked her to bring it to Sam's attention. It was also new to me. I don't know where she found it. I believe they were owners of a well known NY hotel. If it is on way to TSRTS premiere, then it must be New York, cause wasn't he wearing the tiger Hawaiian shirt and striped jacket at the LA premiere? As for the photo from 77 with Jimmy and Bonzo in the red robe, that is definitely a woman and NOT Elton John. Elton is a gnome...Jimmy and Bonzo would have towered over him. Also, look at the accessories on the woman's arm...the rings and bracelets. Elton didn't accessorize like that...nor is his face shaped like hers.
