Conneyfogle
Given the sustained, remarkable level of interest in the Zeppelin Mysteries thread in the main forum, I thought this would be the right time to launch a Photo Forum thread strictly for the purpose of examining obscure Led Zeppelin & related photographs. If you have a photo you are seeking to match against a specific date, concert, event, location or trying to identify someone depicted with them you've come to the right place. To get things started, I wish to submit this photograph of Page, Bonham & Plant astride Suzuki motorcycles. I seek any additional details: February 1972 Led Zeppelin riding motorbikes at Frenchs Forest in Sydney.

lif
I haven't come across a positive identification of the guy on the left. I can't seem to find the answer posted elsewhere using "Montreal" and "airport" in the forums so hope no one minds my asking now. In other forum threads it's been determined that it isn't John Bonham or Sam Cutler (per Cutler himself), but then who is it? Thanks. lif
It was explored in the thread below, but the person's identity is still unresolved Hi Steve - a friend asked on a "Richard Cole" Facebook page and "Richard Cole" identified the person in the photo with JP as fashion designer Paul Reeves, who was a friend of JPs at the time and who was then involved with providing clothing design for Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones among others. I have done some quick searching for images of Paul Reeves from the 1970s but struck out. Another person provided this image but no context was provided for it and so there's no way to really know if that Paul Reeves is the same person as in the photo with Jimmy Page at the airport. At any rate, do you think the guy could be Paul Reeves? (Note that "Richard Cole" is in quotes because who can know on Facebook if a person is real or just has stolen the name)

DonnaJaneHicks
I think her eyes and eyebrows look very much like Charlotte's. I'm not sure if she is, but she certainly looks more like her than Morgana. I use this as an example. I think this is from the '70's of Charlotte. bcarter690
I found these photos of the matchbooks on the Internet...I'm constantly searching for new and different things. However,I can't take credit for being the original locator/poster though..I just grabbed it from someone else who posted it. Its interesting how these things manage to appear after 40 years of obscurity.

See post #588 of this thread: http://forums.ledzeppelin.com/index.php?/topic/10081-available-at-newstands-nearly-everywhere/page-30 That photo group doesn't work for me as evidence that the "Peter Reeves" photo was taken at Orly Airport. In the photo which shows the words Paris in big letters, JP is wearing different clothes and shoes. On second look, you're right. I dug deeper and found the Orly photos were taken by Christian Rose, but the one we were discussing was not. So it seems were back to it having been taken in Montreal and the unidentified gentleman with Jimmy being Peter Reeves.
