Good show last night as I saw Levon Helm play at the Wellmont Theatre. He had a fantastic band that included not only his daughter Amy, but Donald Fagen of Steely Dan. Due to his recovery from throat cancer a few years back, Levon only sings on select songs. He also wears a black glove on one hand. One of the cool things is that the members of the band often switched positions and would play a different instrument. They also did a nice New Orleans' style dance during their Mardi Gras song. They did several Band songs and even covered the Grateful Dead and Steely Dan. Playing 21 songs, the band played for a little over two hours. I do not have the entire setlist but here are some the songs they played:

"The Shape I'm In"

"Chest Fever"

"Black Friday" (Steely Dan)

"Tennessee Jed" (Grateful Dead)

"Everybody Loves a Winner"

"Mardi Gras Day"

"Remedy"

"I Shall Be Released"

"All Your Love"

"It Makes No Difference"

"King Harvest"

"The Weight"
