gibsonfan159
I wouldn't be surprised if that's a replica. I know the "Number One" Les Paul they had on display was a fake, or at least not the real Number One.

The #1 Looks like the real thing, right down to the inlays.

The pic I saw was this one Which I thought looked nothing like this, especially the flame on the top half But then I looked up another angle of the museum guitar where the light displayed the flame better And the dots/blemishes here match the top pic So yeah, it's legit. Apologies.
gln826
Everything Jimmy donated, and everything in that exhibit, is legit. Including the Gibson Les Paul 1960 Custom stolen from him in 1970 and returned in 2015.

I know two guitar geeks who have visited the exhibit (one brought me back some goodies) and it's legit. 1 hour ago, Bonzo1971 said: Here's my band's dragon suit. What do you think? Bonzo1971
Our Dragon Suit was embroidered by this very talented lady, and put together by my equally-talented girlfriend: https://www.rachelroushamembroidery.co.uk/ Here's a few work in progress pics:
Bonzo1971
Our guitarist built both the double neck and the replica of Jimmy's '59 Les Paul that you see in this pic. He made it using as many vintage parts as possible, or parts made out of vintage materials:

rm2551
In 6 months I'm having a '70s themed 50th. I want a dragon suit for it. My missus can make it up. Can anyone help with suggestions so I have at least a half decent one? Where I could get patterns or the various patches or materials with the dragons?? cheers. Bonzo1971
You could try cutting some patches out of kimonos and other items of clothing with dragons on?
