The Rover Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) So, here it is.... this is the Led Zeppelin collection of music, books, and videos, specifically about Led Zeppelin, that is located in my local public library system. (I did not bother to list if there was more than one copy of each item. Whether the items were checked out or not was not part of what's presented here...) (I could have also searched side and solo projects, but I chose to just search out Led Zeppelin as the specific topic....) The Rover Posted April 15, 2010 Author Posted April 15, 2010 Just searched our library and found: Nothing was found for your search. Well then.... YOU can make a difference, by donating new, or used Zeppelin CD's and DVD's to your local library. Over the years, I have personally donated many items to my local library. And some of those items have been Led Zeppelin items. I have donated TSRTS in VHS, and in 2007, in DVD and CD. I like sharing what I think is good with others, that cannot afford to rent or to buy CDs an DVDs, and are just curious about exploring Led Zeppelin with official documents of their work. Quote
Led Zep Gurl Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 My public library has quite a few Zep books, cds and lps. If they don't have it, they can get it from another library in IL or even throughout the US. I have checked out Zep books and read them that way but have started to buy the books lately, some of the books I bought were ones that I first read through the library and then wanted to own. They did have all of Zeps CD's but some of them aren't in very good condition and have pulled some of them off the shelves. I was really suprised since they had some of the most recent Zep books in their collection as soon as they were released a year or so ago. Must be a Zep fan working at my library! Budget cuts have hit the library and they have had to cut staff and hours due to lack of money in our city so probaby no new Zep books for a while either. I plan to donate all my Zep books to the local library when the time need be or have it put in my will. Here is what my local library has available, but they can get about anything if you request it with in reason. Some libraries in IL have the Ross Halfin photo book and some other pricey books on their shelves but not for sure if those would be available to actually check out or not.
