SickTangerine
Hey all I know not everyone has iTunes, but if you do, post your top 25 played songs or something, it's just nice to see what people have listened to a lot. My own: Black Dog - 107 plays The Lemon Song - 93 Gallows Pole - 81 What is and What Should Never Be - 79 Whole Lotta Love - 79 Rock and Roll - 77 When the Levee Breaks - 77 Achilles Last Stand - 74 Misty Mountain Hop - 73 Tangerine - 72 Dazed and Confused - 71 Communcation Breakdown - 71 Heartbreaker - 71 The Battle of Evermore - 68 In My Time of Dying - 68 White Room (by Cream) - 66 (One of the few non zep songs in my top 25 played ) How Many More Times - 60 Good Times Bad Times - 58 The Ocean - 57 The Rover - 57 Death on Two Legs (Queen) - 56 Fat Bottomed Girls (Queen) - 55 Living Loving Maid - 53 With a Little Help From My Friends (Beatles) - 52 Hey Joe (Hendrix) - 52 Phew! That was a lot of typing, probably could have just print screened it, but ah well. Please note that all the songs I have on my iTuneshave probably been listened to (especially the zep ones)countless times on my various MP3 players or iPods across time. There's a lot of non Zep that's nearing into that list though! -Braeden
Black Dawg
Top 5 All Along the Watchtower JH- 40 Highway Star DP- 37 Tuesday's Gone LS-36 Hey Joe- JH - 35 Sunday Bloody Sunday U2-35 I've never really checked this out before. It is ironic that Jimmy Hedrix's version is no. 1. Back in the day we used to battle with the other patrons in our local watering hole to maintain Along Along the Watchtower as the top selected jukebox song. It cost use quite a few 2 bits. Virginia
Please don't laugh; all 5 of us share an account and most of these numbers come from my daughters (even my running playlist!) My running playlist: #1 Tonight I Wanna Cry/Keith Urban: 41 #2 Love Song/Sara Bareilles: 37 #3 Wake Up Call/Maroon 5: 36 My first Zeppelin song comes in at #13, after several by the Clash and Peter Frampton (Trampled Underfoot: 24) The entire music library in our home is even worse: #1 Because of You/Kelly Clarkson: 166 #2 Don't Cha/The Pussycat Dolls: 154 #3 Roses/Outkast: 147 (Just had to boost Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground after seeing it only had 1 play). Electrophile
There aren't any Led Zeppelin in my Top 50, much less Top 25. I don't listen to them as much anymore -- I get sick of them easily if I listen to them too often. That said, here's my Top 25: Solitary Man - Neil Diamond Holly Holy - Neil Diamond Speakerphone - Kylie Minogue Maybe I Know - Lesley Gore Just For Old Time's Sake - The McGuire Sisters Cherry, Cherry - Neil Diamond Halo - Beyonce We Just Disagree - Dave Mason Soul Kitchen - The Doors She's a Fool - Lesley Gore You Don't Own Me - Lesley Gore Breathe - Pink Floyd On The Run - Pink Floyd Money - Pink Floyd How Long - Ace Baby, I Love You - Andy Kim Love Is Here and Now You're Gone - The Supremes Young Girl - Gary Puckett & The Union Gap It Hurts To Be In Love - Gene Pitney Take Me With You - Kylie Minogue Summer Dreams - The McGuire Sisters Us and Them - Pink Floyd (Just Like) Romeo and Juliet - The Reflections Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood - The Animals Ooh La La - Goldfrapp

busy91
I've had so many computers and so many ipods that the count isn't accurate anymore. So I can only count from my latest pairing of the two. The computer is literally brand new. 1. Stairway to Heaven (70) 2. Whipping Post - Allman Bros. (35) 3. Darker Side - Jonny Lang (25) 4. Layla (Live at the Rainbow Concert) (10) Edited July 7, 2010 by busy91

Starbreaker
The numbers aren't accurate since I've switched computers a few months ago, but according to my iPod my Top 25 is 1. Train Kept A Rollin' -Aerosmith 2. Whiplash - Metallica 3. Diamonds and Rust - Judas Priest (from Unleashed in the East) 4. Breaking The Law - Judas Priest 5. Ram It Down - Judas Priest (which is weird because I haven't listened to it in years) 6. Some Heads Are Gonna Roll - Judas Priest 7. Motorbreath - Metallica 8. Hell Bent For Leather - Judas Priest 9. The Hellion/Electric Eye - Judas Priest 10. The Green Manalishi (With The Two-Pronged Crown) - Judas Priest 11. Do You Remember - Jack Johnson 12. Better Together - Jack Johnson 13. Phantom Lord - Metallica 14. Belle - Jack Johnson 15. The Four Horsemen - Metallica 16. Holidays In The Sun - The Sex Pistols 17. Judas Rising - Judas Priest 18. Rock and Roll (HTWWW version) - Led Zeppelin 19. Uncle John's Band - Grateful Dead 20. Paranoid - Black Sabbath 21. Peace Sells - Megadeth 22. The Antichrist - Slayer 23. Evil Has No Boundaries - Slayer 24. Blitzkrieg - Metallica 25. Hit The Lights - Metallica Ok how the hell is Jack friggin' Johnson in my Top 25 three times??? Currently there probably isn't that much Judas Priest in ther since I've been taking a break from the Metal Gods. I would suspect that there's some Iron Maiden in there now, as well as Am I Evil? by Diamond Head.

FieryOceans
It's hard for me to understand these playlists. I embrace new music and old and listen to cd's. I might play a new cd more than once soon after I get it, but usually, I put it in my collection and it goes in a rotation with about 1500 other cd's so it takes awhile before I might here it again. My playlist wouldn't have a song more than 2, at most 3, times on it in a month's period. I'd have to have a playlist covering 10 years or more to have any one song show up 25 times or so like so many here have listed. I just have too much music to listen to one cd, or one song that many times in a short time period.

I just have too much music to listen to one cd, or one song that many times in a short time period. With such a large collection it's ofc a lot easier to not end up hearing the same songs that many times in a month for an example. It also depends on how you approach new albums that you buy. I usually end up listening to new albums I buy quite a few times in a short timeframe. Usually when I'm absorbing a new album or two I hardly listen to anything else. For instance when I bought High Violet by The National I'd often listen to it 2-3 times a day for the first 2 weeks or so. Lately I've been listening to Kid A by Radiohead about once a day. The same happens with individual songs. There's a couple of songs by Sufjan Stevens that I've listened to atleast 2 times a day lately (usually once with my iPod sometime during the school day and then I listen to the full album later at home). Somehow I just don't really get sick of the songs or albums. About 6 months ago I used to often get bored of a certain album after a while because I bought new music so infrequently. I've been buying a lot more music lately which ofc gives me a greater variety of songs to listen to. I do revisit albums from time to time but I just haven't felt like doing that in the last couple of months. Led Zeppelin for an example is at the moment something that I just can't see myself listening to.
