But why is JImmy wearing the black suit for SRS & Sick Again, then is suddenly in the white suit for OTH? Could it be two shows? The camera angle looks pretty similar... This is an extract from a 40 min DVD with footage from 22,23 & 26th shows. However, I think all of this extract is from 22.6, and there may well have been a costume change because that was one of few 77 shows (possibly the only one) where both IMTOD & OTH were played. Page changed his outfit from the Black suit to the White one during Bonham's drum solo. On the recording for the show Plant mentions that Page's pants were falling down. I think after IMTOD. Right...I know Jimmy was probably too stoned to care, but that would have been kind of embarrassing! Mind ya, if the dude had've weighed more than something like ninety pounds (I'm exaggerating of course, but probably not off by much) then maybe his pants would have stayed on! Christ, that fuckin' doubleneck Gibson probably weighed more than Page did in '77... Seems to me there were a few different minor technical difficulties during the LA '77 run. Between broken strings, guitar straps, malfunctioning mellotrons and pants...there wasn't a dull moment to be had! "Ray Thomas From Scotland" musta sure earned his pay, whatever it was...
