All personal belief systems are self-referential. The presenter believes in Christ, Satan, hell, demonic spirits, etc.

and is attempting to persuade the audience to adopt his belief system as their own. It would be a harder sell to a

room full of Buddhists or Muslims. Using those "examples" of backmasking to prove a point is insulting to anyone

capable of critical thought.

These evil, manipulative fools remind me of my ex-wife.

STH was fine when I used to play it to her on my acoustic guitar, to help her relax when she was suffering from M.E. But a few months later, after 'Jesus' had 'healed' her by giving her 'a new brain and new muscles', all ROCK was banned from the house, and she used to follow me around with a bible in her hand, shouting 'Get thee behind me, satan.'

What a bunch of c*nts these people are.

Did you all notice how the presenter was ever so careful to not damage his prized copy of LZ4 and the Bootleg? me thinks he is really still a fan but has decided he needed a back door to heaven as the Stairway to Heaven might just be blocked to him. :lol:

As some of you know, last year i back recorded my entire Led Zeppelin Catalogue, i then preceded to play these recordings over and over again to see what i could hear, and what do ya think i saw? sorry, heard. A bit about Robert and torn fishnet stockings, perish the thought.

Now there were a few references to the word "Satan" in these backward recordings, these came at 3.20 3.26 3.33 and 3.37, if you then look at the time frame for the forward recordings you get the time at 4.26 4.30 4.37 and 4.43, and now i am going to tell you something that will bring down the Christian Church and the Rock World, and i am petrified in doing so, but what can it hurt? its not like Satan himself is going to appear in front of me, or behind me, and butt rape me is it?

And the word that is so enraging all of the Christian World is?

Sorry about that, the Little Devil must have tampered with my post, and my bum does feel sore right now so who knows what the Hell has happened?

I'm back now so i can give you the low down,

and the Word is,

"There's"

It appears in the same place as the word "Satan" does in the reverse recordings,

"There's" a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold

"There's" a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure

"There's" a feeling I get when I look to the west

If "there's" a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now

Yes, "there" are two paths you can go by, but in the long run

"There's" still time to change the road you're on

"There" walks a lady we all know

And she's buying a stairway to heaven, where? over "There"

I've been trying to decipher this all day with one of my sons, I've had him speaking things in to his phone and playing it backwards and this is still the strongest inkling that i get, it all hangs around the word "There's" and we have also found it in Misty Mountain Hop at 2.37 and Four Sticks at 3.51 backward time.

Its all down to certain people, Christians in the most cases, with nothing better to do than a spot of God Bothering, i wish they would all FCUK OFF but they wont, so ill try my best at disproving their theory as i think i have just done, lets face it if someone had taped Jesus saying "Oi you over THERE, got any ointment for me feet"" and then played that backwards you might think Jesus had just said "Hello me ole mate SATAN, got a Lucifer for me fag then?" :o

One account of the band's naming, which has become almost legendary, has it that Keith Moon and John Entwistle, drummer and bassist for The Who, respectively, suggested that a possible supergroup containing themselves, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck would go down like "Satans Puppets" :rolleyes:

I remember back in the early 80s when this stuff about STH came out, I recorded it onto a cassette & spliced it so it would play backwards. I must have listened about 10 times before I heard anything that remotely sounded like "Satan"- and that's only because I was looking for it.

You really don't want to do that, think of all the trouble it would cause? you would have the Great Men of Rock starting on the Christians for Blaspheming, like the amount of times the word "Page" "Clapton" "Beck" or "Hendrix" comes up when you back-mask Genesis, i wouldn't be surprised that if you back-mask the word "Deuteronomy" or "Leviticus" you get the word "ZOSO" now wouldn't that be interesting?

I know where your coming from. My Mom and one of my sisters were captured by the Jehovah's Witnesses many years ago. My mom has since passed. My sister is one of the most judgmental and unforgiving people I know. Such good Christian traits. Don't get me wrong, she's a good person and I love her dearly. Just confused and...misled if that's the right word.

The whole thing is fear as I'm sure you well know. Not just JW's but a lot of Christianity as well. The JW's number one sales pitch is Armageddon and you. They also tell their flocks what to read, see and, listen too. You're up shit's creek if they find out you gaze upon things not sanctioned by the elders. Just like the Catholics with the Da Vinci code telling their followers not to watch the movie.

It's all so sad. To live life in fear and not be able to make your own decisions based on what YOU believe to be true and also, to miss out on some of the best music ever made. Anyone who could find something evil in "The Rain Song" has some really big issues.

One of the youtube videos had one of the reversed lines in Stairway as, "He had a little tool shed where he made us suffer."

It made so much sense. lol.
