pandabot
Seattle writer Tom Kipp has listed Bron-Yr-Aur among the greatest songs of all time. He writes, "In terms of Jimmy Page's accomplishments, I think of it as the ultimate example of "Lyricism & Equilibrium" (a title I gave to one of my favorite compilation tapes 20-odd years ago, on which "B-Y-A" served as a side-opening linchpin) and "Fury Withheld" (yet to be compiled)." There's much more. The article is very well written and there are some great links in the text. Tripmender
Interesting that Mr Kipp considers it to be 'the oddest track in the Annals of Zep'. I think one can safely surmise that he hasn't heard the middle three tracks on ITTOD
Magic Fills the Air
I love Bron-Yr-Aur - I think it must one of the greatest accoustic solos of all time. It has a lovely soft soothing sound to it. I imagine a brook of gently flowing water somewhere in rural Wales when I listen to it.

I imagine a brook of gently flowing water somewhere in rural Wales when I listen to it. I couldn't agree more. I always imagine looking out my window and seeing a great water fall and just realizing how great it is to be alive. Such a fantastic song.
