The Black Sabbath Thread

No Texas dates yet, and no Los Angeles dates...I'm thinking there's more to be announced. I wonder what the Rival Son's setlist will be ... I can't wait to see both these bands on the same bill.

The Sabbath fans that aren't familiar with the rival sons will be in for a treat!

^^There is a Los Angeles date February 11th.  I hope an Arizona date gets put in, I have not missed them in Phoenix though since they first reunited in 1999 or whatever it was. I'm sure they will probably put in a Texas date, I'd be suprised if they didn't.

The much sought after bootleg, Sabbath's most rarest of all, Dumfries '69, I wonder how Sharon Osbourne felt after it's release on the net.

She had the exclusive rights to it, I wonder how it made it on the net, if she had bought the original?

Here is an article.:  http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/black-sabbath-dumfries-69-master-sold-to-divine-recordings/

I'd like to know what you all think of the post Ozzy Black Sabbath eras? Especially the Glen Hughes and Martin eras.

But please feel fee to elaborate on the Dio and Gillan eras.

The only one I'm really familiar with is the RJD era. They made some great songs during that time as well.

I do recall hearing some solo Iommi stuff w/ Glen Hughes on vocals that I really dug.

You are not familiar with the Ozzy era? Those Dio era albums are classic, Falling Off The Edge Of The World is one of their best songs from that era, if not the best.
