jabe
My sister in law is a teacher in a public school system. She and her faculty were informed yesterday that any student caught "cheating" will not be tagged as such... a cheater. "Academic Dishontesty" is the new catchphrase. Knowing this, I will sleep better tonight with a warm and fuzzy feeling. Er.. make that a climate friendly peachy feeling.

Right, and the band Meat Puppets are doing the same by changing their name to Carnivorous Marionettes. I've also heard that Def Leppard are looking at Hearing Impaired Feline. Its no wonder people in todays society think they can get away with crap (and they do) and not be held responsible for wrongful actions. Political correctness means no one wants to hurt someone elses feelings and make them feel bad. Well if they have done wrong they should feel bad. Its called a guilty conscience. Aquamarine
It's not exactly a compliment to call someone dishonest, though I agree it's not as strong as cheater.

Starbreaker
I visited Boston College recently. While on a guided tour of the campus, our group was informed that minority students are referred to at BC as "AHANA" which stands for African-American, Hispanic, Asian, Native American. All I have to say is, what the f**k?
sweetredwine
Ridiculous. Political correctness means no one wants to hurt someone elses feelings and make them feel bad. Well if they have done wrong they should feel bad. Its called a guilty conscience. Nowadays it is almost impossible to get people to agree on what qualifies for "wrongful" actions. For many there is no "right" or "wrong", everything is relative, and everyone is a victim (on the same level). Unfortunately, this way of thinking promotes confusion and doesn't help to build healthy people or healthy societies. The situation has become so ridiculous that one wonders how people ever managed to agree on such issues before.
