He had checked into the Cumberland in London's West End 12 days before his death. The suite where the star gave his last interview, to NME journalist Keith Altham, has been decked out with Hendrix memorabilia and psychedelic decorations. Guests will also be able to listen to the original uncut audio tape of the interview with Hendrix during their stay. The hotel is also working in partnership with The Jimi Hendrix Foundation, the official not-for-profit organisation set up in honour of the iconic musician to provide deprived children with access to musical instruments or music lessons.
