SteveAJones
Some selected highlights among many: 1961 - Albert Lee and Jimmy Page met for the first time; they would go on to often play records at each other's homes. Later that same year Jimmy developed an affinity for Albert Lee's sound (Gibson Les Paul Custom with Supro Amp) and bought a Supro of his own. 1974 - The Pretty Things sign a recording contract with Led Zeppelin's newly formed Swan Song Records 1981 - Chris Farlowe sang on three tracks for Jimmy's Death Wish II Soundtrack project 1983 - Page performs on benefit tour for his good friend Ronnie Lane 1987 - Chris Farlowe sang on three tracks for Jimmy's first solo album, Outrider Previous Jimmy Page Appearances at the 100 Club 1996 - Attended Lonnie Mack gig Sep 25, 1996 - Attended Yardbirds gig, spending most of the evening in the company of Jeff Beck

Aquamarine
This is sad to see --I saw many bands there over the years, from the early Faces to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, with numerous blues bands in between. Might try to make the Pretty Things gig, to see the place one last time.
