FireOpal
Ratt "Out of the Cellar" - became a hit in spite of terrible production A lot of records from the 80's sound really dated, even the expensive productions like Peter Gabriel. That big, airy drum sound that everyone seemed to go for, or the cheesy tacked-on synths to be "current" like on Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark and Van Halen's Jump. badgeholder
I was listening to the best of David Bowie the other night and I was shocked at how bad some of it sounded, production-wise.
chef free
I wish I could remix Exile on Main Street to turn up KEITH! Same for Jimmy on In Through the Out Door and Walking Into Clarksdale! Can't barely hear him.
