JimmyPageZoSo56
I would like to purchase a drum phaser for my drummer's birthday. Any idea where I can find one?
huw
Well, unless he's playing a mic'ed up kit there's no point... Any phaser will do, there are no "guitar phasers" "drum phasers" etc, just phasers. To hear the effect on drums you need microphones on the kit, then the sound guy adds the phasing effect at the desk.

I actually figured this out a couple of weeks ago; that there are no drum phasers, so yes you are correct. We will just have to mic the drums and run the phaser through that. Be authentic to John Bonham's phased drumming sound and get one of these:

BonzoLikeDrumer
eBay is probably your best bet. If it is an Eventide its a good bet you can get a close to Bonham sound with it.
