JohnPaulJoel Posted April 11, 2011 Share Posted April 11, 2011 Just dropping a quick note to the forum, I am the bassist/keyboardist/mandolin player in two California Led Zeppelin tributes, HEARTBREAKER (from San Jose) and fill-in for LED ZEPPLICA (from Ventura). I have set up a special Hollywood, CA gig with LED ZEPPLICA for my 50th birthday (there is nothing I would rather do on my birthday than to play Zep music). The concert takes place on Tues, April 19th 2011 at the Steve Allen Theater, 4773 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles 90027. $10 cover includes free wine, softdrinks and birthday cake. I never get to play JPJ in Los Angeles, and this is a rare opportunity to see one of the truly outstanding Zep tributes (featuring Joe Retta as Plant, Len Mann as Page and the amazing Darryl Johnson as Bonham).
