We want Led Zeppelin together again: Let's persuade Robert Plant

I think after that amazing reunion in 2007, Plant goes his own way, Jason pays tribute to his father, Jimmy retires (he has had a long musical career) and Jonesy does his thing.

That's the way it is, the way it should be.

I'm happy that Plant atleast REMEMBERS Zeppelin.

What would persuade Robert to change his mind do you suppose? What could one tempt him with, he being a man who has everything?

EDIT: I've got the answer: mind control. Someone should hypnotise him into thinking he wants to be in Led Zeppelin again.

:D

I just think some people love Zeppelin so much that they think that whatever could happen...WILL happen. The Zeppelin mega tour we all wish could happen most likely won't. It's fun to think about, but anything past that is a waste of time sadly. <_<

We used to hear all of this with Beatles reunion rumors too when John and George were still alive.

I can deal with the constant rumor mongering a whole lot better than I can with those that want to continually lay blame at Plant's feet for not touring following the 02 concert. Unfortunately, that sort of bullshit will continue as well. That's why I was recently taken aback when someone mentioned the Band of Joy record and said how much it differed from Raising Sand. It goes to show that there are some people out there that actually went to the trouble of listening to the album prior to stating an opinion of it.

Good post Jahfin. I'm one of them and love Robert's new material. He really has put a great band together and they put on a great live show, which I have witnessed twice at a club show at the Bowery Ballroom and the Beacon Theater. Would love to see him at the ACL festival in September which I am going too. Hope he is announced as one of the headliners. That would be something!
