Does anybody else get pissed off when you hear Heartbreaker & livin login maid separated on the compilations like mothership &/or while shuffling songs on your iPod? I don't know maybe it's just me

Mmmmmm...no. I don't think of them as being together. They are too different from one another. I know the radio stations play them back to back but the band never played them that way on stage. In fact, they never played LLM onstage. My favorite part of the TSRTS soundtrack is Heartbreaker going into WLL. Bonham pounding into WLL from Heartbreaker is just a lot of fun to listen to. The anticipation of Jimmy's WLL riff intro.

I don't see them as a pair, were they even intended to be a pair? I know when they flow on the album when Heartbreaker finishes it sounds like it is meant to cut into Livin Lovin Maid, I think thats just a coincidence because it's not like how they did Your Time is Gonna Come and Black Mountain Side on the first album.

I also don't think any of the members would have wanted Livin Lovin Maid on any future Zeppelin releases e.g greatest hits, mothership. They didn't even really want it on Led Zeppelin II

Same thing happens to me when I don't hear The Rain Song after TSRTS :)

This is one I agree with because after TSRTS all I hear is Robert going "aaaaaaaaaaaaah" like he does at Earls Court then Jimmy strums the opening chord to The Rain Song another one I get is the end of Hots on For Nowhere then I feel like its only natural for it to become Tea For One.

Personally speaking yes it annoys me. Led II had both songs together, Livin' Lovin' Maid came in almost on top of Heartbreaker's ending. That's the way I listened to these two songs for decades. All of a sudden with the Led Box that came out in the early 90's a bit of revisionist history kicked in.

So yes I find it annoying. It's not earth shattering but yes I don't like changing stuff that existed in a certain way for years and years.

Yeah that used to bother me back in the days that I listened to the radio a lot. But what REALLY got to me was on Two-fer-Tuesdays when the local DJ would play Heartbreaker and Living Loving Maid and that was it, nothing else. I always knew that it was two songs but I always felt that since they usually played the two together, the DJ was just being an a-hole! On the other hand, it was always REALLY cool on Two-fer-Tuesdays when the DJ would play a third song after Living Loving Maid, especially when it was one of the longer songs that they would play--it was almost like a Block-o-Led Zeppelin!
