Roxie
Any fans of this band? One of my favorites, and their album "Apple" is a classic for me. The recently long-awaited documentary on lead singer Andrew Wood was just released. Made me love the band even more!
Sagittarius Rising
Big fan!!! Bone China and Chloe Dancer are two of my favorites with Man of Golden Words a close second. Such a tragedy, I love Pearl Jam but Eddie Vedder is no Andrew Wood, Wood was a huge talent and unfortunately like many talented people he could not handle the pressure and heroin took him. With Wood at the helm they could have become the next Zeppelin in terms of diversity and popularity, we will never know.
Roxie
Couldn't agree more! I love that Chris Cornell was playing "Man Of Golden Words" during his recent solo tour.

Magenta
Loved them during my “grunge period“, as well as Green River, and Mad Season... Great band though
reswati
A very unique band with a great singer. I still have a bootleg called "Hello Hometown, live in Seattle 3-1-90", that illustrates in great sound quality how cool they sounded live. Good to hear about the documentary, I am certainly gonna watch that one, thanks for the info.

I dig me some MLB, but to suggest that Eddie Vedder doesn't measure up to Andrew Wood is as a ridiculous a statement as you'll ever hear. With Vedder they became the closest thing to Zeppelin we've seen since the Bonzo's exit.

Roxie
^ nice! I was really happy to see Pearl Jam paying homage to MLB / Andy. I love what Eddie says about Andy at the end of this one:
