I like these distortions and ghost-like mirroring effects. The reflective surface of the bronze sculpture was perfect. And it took 1-2 stones away from me :D

I'm a hardcore purist and don't use photoshop or any other manipulation program.
For elderly digital pics (from the 90s) or elderly scanned printed pics I turn up or adjust the brightness, that's all.
I'm very happy with my Canon EOS 1300D I bought two and a half years ago. Easy to handle, great pics, no need to fake.

If the impressive landscape of the Grand Canyon isn't beautiful, dramatical or awesome enough then there's something wrong IMO.

To me it looks like a scene from Dr. Caligari.

I don't like JPEG's because it's how the camera 'thinks' it should look. I want full control, just like with a darkroom. HDR to me is just like bracketing with film. It's also awesome with black & white.

Love the micro and or close up concept of capturing an image.  Looks awsome! The colors of the moss and lichen on that branch are gorgeous.

Thank you very much, zepscoda. I am very happy and contented with my camera.

I like your new bird-pic also very much. The colors and lights are great and all the birds on the wire are too funny.

Beautiful pictures!  Thanks for sharing.  Hope you're having a wonderful time.

Thanks,  we had a blast up there. Flew into Denver a couple days early and road tripped it up to South Dakota for a over nighter. Then back down to Colorado to submerge ourselves in beautiful scenery , beer , food & fine smoke😎
