Geezer Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 My observation: The 1999 DVD version features the same audio as the actual film that was shown in theaters in 1976. The audio track is basically the 1976 CD version of TSRTS but there are some differences such as the inclusion of Black Dog. Not sure about the VHS version, though. I think the first version was released in 1984 that included the exact same audio as the film and the 1999 DVD (http://www.discogs.com/Led-Zeppelin-The-Song-Remains-The-Same/release/1796106). ledzepfilm might be able to help us.
