Administrators sam_webmaster Posted December 8, 2011 Administrators Share Posted December 8, 2011 Led Zeppelin legend John Paul Jones was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from a U.K. music school on Thursday (08Dec11) in recognition of his career. The bassist received the accolade at a ceremony at prestigious performing arts college Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Deptford, south London. 2520zosos Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 "Hear hear" I have a friend who has been involved in a recent redecoration of John Paul Jones’s family home. He was telling me a story the other night of how his foreman dripped some paint on to a rather nice looking, old piano stool while doing a bit of last minute touching up that made me cringe somewhat. My understanding is that the Jones's were not too impressed at the time either, so let's hope this surprise is a little more to their liking.
