mstork Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Very cool, thanks for posting Sam. I like that he has an extra pair of shades on the couch just in case... Quote
Led Zep Girl Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Wow. Jimmy looks & sounds great! It's good to see him! Metallica should be honored to hear from Jimmy. I would. Quote
MadScreamingGallery Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Watch Video: metallica.com/videos/30th-anniversary-testimonials.asp Thank you for sharing this with us, Sam. I will admit that I am not a Metallica fan (although my son is) so, had you not posted this here, I probably would have missed seeing Jimmy's message. I think Jimmy looks and sounds wonderful...he still has that lovely, rare combination of cool and class (and still beautiful in a scarf ). Had someone asked me decades ago to envision what Jimmy would be like at his current stage in life, this is exactly how I would have imagined him to be. Quote
SuperStatic Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Jimmys so cool man. I dig how hes got a spair just in case the ones hes wearing go out of style while he's talking! Quote
ally Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 He looks and sounds great ! Only things missing are a Les Paul and a stack of Marshall's Quote
Black-Dog Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Yeahh, maybe he will do a guest appearance with Metallica. YEAAHHH Enter Sandman!!!! Quote
TheStairwayRemainsTheSame Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I just get so excited when something NEW has to do with Jimmy. The best, the very best. Look at how much attention this has a got Jimmy giving a mere tribute to Metallica, a band I don't personally like but it seems the wizard does. I've put it up on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCUDqg3skJU&feature=youtu.be Quote
aen27 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Thank you so much Sam and thanks MSG for bringing this to my attention on fb. Love it! Quote
SuperDave Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Nice one. Thanks Sam. Is there anyone who looks cooler these days than Jimmy Page? Quote
Led Zep Girl Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Nice one. Thanks Sam. Is there anyone who looks cooler these days than Jimmy Page? No. No there isn't. Quote
SteveAJones Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I suspect Halfin had a hand in this. Quote
henrybonzo Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 i thought Metallicas all star jam of Train kept a rollin (hall of fame) was brilliant, sounded better than Aerosmiths, it suited Hetfield Quote
freshmint Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Jimmys so cool man. I dig how hes got a spair just in case the ones hes wearing go out of style while he's talking! Hahahah .. I agree Quote
BMV Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Metallica had real cred up to and including And Justice For All. Then the Bob Rock association for the next album, that finished them for me.I found his overly blatant production gave a lot of bands a common sound. A lot of bands went to him, and they all sounded like variations on the Bob Rock band. Quote
TheStairwayRemainsTheSame Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 "Some of the best rock and roll around, lets face it" Jimmy is so modest Quote
Led Zep Girl Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I suspect Halfin had a hand in this. Yes. I am sure he did. Quote
