LedZep342
Are these b/w video stills?
ledzepfilm
No shit sherlock. I am 40% sure they are.
Captain Crunge
Just got them off the Net..nowhere special. They certainly give the impression as being from film, don't they? ;-)
Glyn
They may be screen caps of black and white pictures that were part of a video. I remember something like that happening before. I don't have a clue.

They certainly give the impression as being from film, don't they? ;-) fsmith (I presume you are), you find alot of interesting pictures that might be video stills.. But alot of them are not. I think those pics are one of those nots.
Jahfin
I think those pics are one of those nots. Say again?
LedZep342
Ledzepfilm, you said "No shit shurlock. I'm 40% sure they are." earlier. Now you agree that these are photos. Anyway, I've seen at least two of these photos before, as seen here the photos were probably captured from a computer, book etc. with some electronic device. The effect the photos have makes their appearance look like a video still.

TheStairwayRemainsTheSame
These are from a video no doubt about that, could be from a film camera or someone has take pictures of the video screen that they used at Knebworth
ledzepfilm
I agree with 342, they look like they were scanned from a book or something.
LedZep342
I agree with 342, they look like they were scanned from a book or something. So now you agree with me, way to go by saying "no shit sherlock". Another question is why do three of the photos contain a watermark? Is this from the Bonham archives, did a member of the Bonham family possibly take these photos? Captain Crunge, could you please provide a link to the site where you found these photos? ledzepfilm
Whatever, with your asshole comments. There is a Jason Bonham mark since Jason is on the drums in the picture.
magerogue
Looks like a video to me. Looks at the pigmentation to the left of Bonham. Looks like someone took a photo of the video with a camera.
tom kid
Those are not video stills. All of those pictures are in Dave Lewis' celebration 2 book.
Geezer
Earls Court was filmed on a videotape. The video shown on the big screen was recorded to the tape. I'm pretty sure the original camera negatives of the Earls Court concerts still exist.
Z-o-S-o
I'm pretty sure the original camera negatives of the Earls Court concerts still exist. Why exactly if I may ask?
Geezer
Didn't every camera record video on its own tape?
Glyn
As I have read elseware, every camera sent it's feed to the main switch board. From there the guy directing the show dictated what shots were shown on the screen. What was shown on the screen was sent to a video tape recorder. It's all that was recorded, thus all that we can expect to have.
Z-o-S-o
And that has been told for about >9000 times now so if there isn't any evidence to suggest otherwise I would face it.
Glyn
True. But as with everything Led Zeppelin...

Glyn
Surrey, England @ Shepperton Studios (August 1974, MSG reshoots) So I'm guessing that this is contained within TSRTS? Because otherwise that would be major. Nothing new as far as I have heard. There's been some new images, but no video.
magerogue
Would be great to have video footage of that 1980 show that's rumoured.
