Led Zeppelin's most beautiful song?

Bron-Y-Aur

All My Love

Kashmir

Over The Hills And Far Away

Achilles Last Stand

The Rain Song

The Battle of Evermore

Stairway To Heaven

The Rover

Sorry about the rather long list, but when I hear the word "beautiful", these Led Zeppelin songs come to mind :) It's pretty difficult if not impossible to narrow it down to just one B)

I love "All of My Love" but it would be better without that synth solo, kinda ruins it.

Ruins it??? Dude, that's the best part of the song..........(maybe you just don't like the "tone" of the keyboards? - sounds a little dated?) How many keyboard solos can you hum note for note like a briliant guitar solo? That's exactly what's put down on that track. If it weren't there, what other changes would it have besides verses and chorus?

What was I meant to do put the whole catalogue down?

Why not smart arse!

Pretty poor effort for a poll, no criteria.

Define beautiful, do you mean lyrically or melodically?

Go back to school and learn how to conduct a poll and collect statistics properly, gibberer.

Well it looks like everyone else got the gist of what I meant beautiful to them, everyone knew what I meant and posted. You seem to be the only one with the problem, hmmm...

If you'd have asked what was there most rockin' or entertaining song I'd have had to thought about it. For beautiful I don't have to think, it's THE RAIN SONG. This song is the most beautiful rock song ever. It's on par with Beethoven or Liszt in the beauty category.

"These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall

This is the wonder of devotion - I see the torch we all must hold.

This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall......

With lyrics like these coupled with the gorgeous melody, it's a no brainer for me.

The Rain Song all the way! :)
