jabe
Would it be in poor taste to go on record that I kind of enjoy threads as these?
Stryder1978
I truly feel sorry for the true fans that couldn't go in 2007 whether it was because they were unlucky, couldn't afford it, had no connections, etc. My ire is towards the people (and there are lots that postr it) that say they would do ANYTHING to see Zep if they toured again. In reality, they would not or did not in 2007. I said the same thing for over 25 years and long gave up on the idea that I would ever see them perform live. When the chance came in 2007, I did try all avenues and was willing to take a second mortgage if I had to. IF someone REALLY wanted a ticket to the O2, they could have gotten one - though it would have cost them!! It was a once in a lifetime shot and if you weren't willing to take out a loan or try EVERY avenue available...and I mean EVERY avenue...then don't tell me you'd give anything to see them. David Lee
I would have done anything in 2007 if I was as into zeppelin as I am now But I was only 16 and hadnt really even started listening to zeppelin
Stryder1978
AHHHH...youth! Congrats on getting into Zeppelin, and sorry you weren't able to see them in 2007. I feel your pain - I was 19 when they played their last ggs in Europe in 1980 and didn't have a clue about traveling abroad at that time. Welcome to the forum! hot dog
I think you just have to accept the fact that when you get into a band about 30 years after they ceased to be a functioning act, especially one that doesn't chase the big bucks of lucrative reunion tours, there really is little realistic prospect of seeing them live. Stryder1978
Hey...never give up hope! After 1980, I kept wishing for a reunion and after about 20 years, gave up the hope of EVER seeing them perform live together. When the O2 gig was announced, I told myself I would be there.....maybe it would just be outside the venue leaning an ear against the cold concrete to listen to it, but I saw it as an absolute last chance to ever experience a Zep gig. I HIGHLY doubt a reunion tour will ever happen...but another one off gig? Never say never.......

Charles J. White
Unless you were Joe Elliott from Def Leppard, The Edge, David Coverdale Noel Gallagher, Jeff Martin from The Tea Party and so on, most of us regular folks in North America were not going to get into the Zeppelin gig at the 02, The person who was being so insulting in this thread knows that many of us tried to get tickets, but the tickets sold out in minutes…Go suck a cock…. ZeppMan93
If you want a 2012-2013 tour, I suggest you personally find Robert Plant and convince him otherwise. The rest of the guys probably wouldn't mind.
