LedZeppfan77
The Jets may give Rex Ryan one more year to try and right the ship. Get a new QB in there, maybe Michael Vick and see what happens. Norv Turner is toast though, at least I hope he is. He would make a good offensive coordinator somewhere. Philip Rivers can show flashes of brilliance, he just needs to cut down on the turnovers. The Jets ownership are not known for having patience with coaches like Detroit and Cincy. I say Turner, Gailey, Ryan, Reid are toast. Melba.
ZEPFAN17
I didn't watch the whole game just some of the second half, both teams are pitiful, the Jetsies are in my division so I am really enjoying this!
ZEPFAN17
the ensuing kick off after the Patriots scored is what did them in..Brady did his part but special teams fucked up and the defense was horrible.
redrum
Great game Bro! Kudos to the 9'ers The defense 'stiffened' when they had to. Who was that guy who said the players should use Viagra?
paul carruthers
Settling into the game, Detroit looking stout so far on defense, will it hold up for the rest of the game?
Black Dawg
Settling into the game, Detroit looking stout so far on defense, will it hold up for the rest of the game? What's going on with may Swartz be with you's offense? It took him Lon enough to find Megatron.
jb126
.....and need to hold on to the ball.
Black Dawg
^ Roddy White lit Houston on fire.
Strider
Missing the game cause I'm stuck in traffic. And now it's started to rain.
paul carruthers
The Lions may need to start throwing to Megatron if the Falcons keep running up the score.
Black Dawg
2 for Roddy. Matty ice is 11/11 with the 2 TDs. Falcons offense running finely tuned in Motown
paul carruthers
It's turning into a laugher. These Falcons are almost convincing me they might do some damage in the playoffs... almost.
Strider
So I turn on the game and it's already 21-3 Falcons. And here I was worried Detroit would put up a fight at home and this might be a trap game for Atlanta.

The only bright spot is CJ breaks a few records but let's not forget he put the pigskin on the turf.
paul carruthers
No "trap game" here. The Lions just suck! Maybe they put up a fight in the second half, lord knows they're going to have Stafford slinging the ball all over the field to try to get back in the game.
Strider
I'm already tired of hearing about this record. If CJ gets it, it will still be among the most irrelevant records in the NFL. At least Jerry Rice's record-season led the 49ers to the NFC Championship game. Megatron's won't even get them to the playoffs. Playoffs? You're talking about PLAYOFFS? I don't care how many records CJ sets...he's not better than Jerry Rice, the G.O.A.T.!
paul carruthers
Oh crap, looks like the Falcons are letting Detroit back into this ballgame...
Strider
Oh crap, looks like the Falcons are letting Detroit back into this ballgame... Which is precisely why I find it hard to take Atlanta seriously as a contender.

I believe the NFC title game will be Atlanta vs San Fran. We all know that there is not a huge leap from worst to first. My Bills had the Giants on the ropes last year. Remember that? But without a QB you lose. Ryan is good enough. And Atlanta has the best secondary in football. Notice how they have contained the Lions. I believe the Super Bowl will be Atlanta and New England. They have to get the #1 seed...if San Francisco or Green Bay gets it, forget it.

paul carruthers
^^ As long as the Packers have that QB named Rodgers, I give them more than a shot in the playoffs. And Charles Woodson should be back for the postseason which will improve their secondary. As long as the Pack don't have to play the Giants, they should be in good shape. Strider
Forget about Green Bay and that stinking secondary. Forget about it. If Atlanta, a warm-weather-dome-team has to go to Lambeau in January, forget about the Falcons mounting any kind of passing attack. Looks like Atlanta finally has the Lions under control. I'm off to finally go see "The Hobbit". Later, dudes!

Green Bay has no secondary and it will spell their undoing. San Fran and Atlanta. One of those two will represent the NFC.
