John Paul Jones to play France's Guitare en scène, July 29

John Paul Jones, Seasick Steve, will perform at this year's Guitare en Scène according to the festival's website: http://www.guitare-en-scene.com/

It takes place each year in the town of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois in the French department of Haute-Savoie next to the Swiss border.

Jones and Seasick Steve are playing Sunday, July 29th.

It looks likes he is playing with Seasick Steve at 5:30PM and a closing jam at 10:30PM. Sweet.

Good luck to both of them ... seasick steve is a very talented and nice guy .... and jonesy, well he's my most favorite artist in the history of humanity :) (after bonzo of course ).

^^zemun, thanks for posting. It lead me to this one. Honestly JPJ is in the top three of brilliance as far as a musician IMHO. I would have loved to have seen this live!

Seasick Steve looks like a truck driver. :P And JPJ as always doing an amazing job. I really hope he does another solo album/tour.

I will admit I did not know of Seasick until I started to visit this forum. I've since watched quite a bit of video. He and his music are likeable.

I hope JPJ makes his way back over to the US soon.
