I don't mean to be rude but ......How old are you /or are you very rich in order to see all these arists in your current lifetime.I notice you don't give a place or date of any of these concerts you claim to have seen. Do us all a favour, give us the dates and places where you allegedly seen all these concerts.

HI Joe, I am 56 and started my gigging in 1971. I don't keep a list of dates from many of the 70's shows especially. I did used to have all my ticket stubs until I lost them in a house move many years ago. Back in the 70's i would see 2-3 bands a week, and many were only 25-30p.I do keep the tickets now. I do remember in 1972 I had a four week period when I saw Free, Jethro Tull and Sabbath.

Lats year I went to 38 shows and have 20 already booked for this year. But it is getting very expensive now, recent purchases for The Who, Santana and Fleetwood Mac have cost a fortune. And the vast majority of the shows I have to travel to other cities such as Brum, Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool, London Wolverhampton Buxton. Whereas in the 70's they were all here in Stoke.. I spend more time on the M6 than a sales rep.

I'm not richand have recently retired but I don't drink much, don't smoke and buying music and going to shows is how I spend my money. So this year will include June Tabor, Beth Hart,Quo, Joe Bonamassa, Black Crowes, Deborah Bonham, Matchbox 20, Clapton, Knopfler and Rush

Bonnie Raitt, Springsteen, ZZ Top, Counting Crows,The Who, Kings of Leon, F Mac, Peter Gabriel and Bryan Ferry. all again in other cities.

I understand your uncertainty that someone has seen so many bands but tis true. I know others who can outdo my list.

  • To many to list!

I'll see your 'to' and raise you an 'o'. ;)

Dayum, Strider! Mr Page would probably be able to recognise you in a police line-up for les paul theft.

Never had seats that close to the stage where he would have seen me, redirtuo. Usually my seats were in loge or the colonnade sections...if I was on the floor, it was in the middle or the rear. I think the closest I've been at a Jimmy Page concert was around the 6th or 7th row.

Now, Robert on the other hand, might recognize me. I have been front row at several of his concerts.
