beetleron,

Nice work on the Jeff Beck and Edge images!

I've seen both artists, but only managed a few snapshots of U2, due to time and legal constraints [The Amnesty International Tour....which, unfortunately, forbids publication without permission from AI....].

I've been particularly busy lately, putting together an ongoing blog of my photo archives, and I've just uploaded a prime selection of The Rolling Stones 1981 Tour, from the two shows they did in Kentucky, that year.

Here are few samples, and you can take a peek at the rest, here:

This will serve as a "two-in-one" posting....I've recently uploaded pictures of The Police, from 1982, to my blog, with some words about the show:

And, for you guitar enthusiasts, I also posted my photos of the incredible Richard Thompson, of Fairport Convention fame, from his one-and-only tour with his wife Linda Thompson, in the U.S. ...... also from 1982:

Here are a few samples from that performace....

I didn't take these but they are from a concert i would have loved to have seen but was only 8 yrs old if I had attended. These were taken by Hotplant during the Bad Company tour of the United States in1977- they were touring for my fav album by them-Burnin' Sky. I think this was somewhere in California-might be wrong as she forwarded these to me like in 2004.

It has been a while, and over the years, I've managed to work on a few more photos from my archives.  The latest, being The Kinks, from their 1980 and 1982 tours of the U.S.
Here are a few choice ones, and a link to read about, and see more, from the shows.

Quite tame presentation, compared to many other K-Pop girl groups, these days.

Well, those are just three shots from a concert length performance. AOA do deliver the goods. Always a pleasure to see them perform.

Thanks for sharing.  A few of their clips pop up from time to time in my YouTube feed.  Always prefer professional clips, vs fan [shaky hand-held images], myself :)

Very nice! Saw Humble Pie several times, between the "Smokin'" tour, and "Eat It!".  Great rock 'n' roll band.  So sad Marriott passed on.... Thanks for sharing.

Nice picture of Marriott! What the heck is that guitar he's playing?

That would appear to be an Epiphone Dwight [according to the article, it was an Epiphone Coronet, licensed to Dwight's Music shop, in NYC, for customization]:

Fantastic Frampton shot. He's doing his last tour this year.

Best shot I've seen of this historic jam session.

You got that right! - No other photograph of this historic moment comes close - I was there! - I took this one too! - John Bonham posing as “The Hermit” for Jimmy!

Unsure what to say about this one. One would think there would be at least one other shot from someone. I don't think I've seen any other photographs of this moment.
