One of the main differences with the London conference is the addition of Mr. Bonham.

Mr. Bonham was mentioned a total of 13 times during the September 21st press briefing, which would have sent a message to the organizers about the media interest in his person. If new questions are asked by the journalists, he'd be there in person to field them.

Also I wonder if some changes would be made to the wallpaper in the background, as I remember Plant making some comments about feeling like a football manager after a match.

Fantastic News!

This will be history in the making!

At least two more rare opportunities to see the surviving members of Led Zeppelin together again!

And Jason was invited to join them in NYC!

How does one get tickets to the press conference at MOMA?

I love that art gallery! Many classic and historic paintings there, such as the Salvador Dali melting clock, if I am remembering correctly. I hope that the guys, and particularly Jimmy get the opportunity to have a private viewing of the museum. I know that they would enjoy it.

Hey everyone! I used to have an account here but have long lost it. So here's a new one!

Anyways I am a 20 year old college student at Michigan State. REALLY considering being an idiot and flying to NY for the premiere and for the press conference. It is my dream to see Zep and that seems lie an impossibility. Ill even settle for seeing them together at the press conference instead of playing. Anyone know how I can get tickets or give me any other information? Im freaking out right now lol.

Thanks Sam...but I think part of the press release was lost or cut off in the process of you posting.

Where is the part about the Los Angeles Premiere? To be held October 10 at the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood, preceded by a press conference at the Andaz Hotel, formerly the Continental Hyatt House, aka 'the Riot House'...somehow that part wasn't in your original post, Sam. A mere oversight, I'm sure. ;)

I believe only journalists with a press accreditation can have access to the press conference?

I could be wrong, although some people from the Zeppelin organisation may confirm or deny this, that non-journalists will not be able to see the band members at the event.

Led Zeppelin to Touch Down in New York

It’s been a long time — a long, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time — since Led Zeppelin last appeared on American soil. But now the hammer of the gods (and the spirit of publicity) will drive the surviving members of that seminal British rock band to New York next week to begin promoting its new concert film, “Celebration Day,” its press representatives said on Monday.

Glad to hear Jason will be in attendance for the NY premiere. Now we don't have to worry about message upon message about why JB wasn't at the press conference.

^_^

Ha! Don't bet on it paul. I'm sure the usual 'amateur psychologist' anoraks will be out nitpicking about arched eyebrows and who is Jason sitting next to and the distance between John Paul Jones' left nostril and Robert Plant's right one.

It never ends...and frightfully never will.

I agree....and feel for ya zosorose....they should make at least a limited number of tickets available to the general public....as they did in London....

There will be fans gathering outside the movie theater and the museum on the ninth....I'll be there and several others....I know it's a long trip from Michigan

without getting to meet them and probably only a brief glimpse of them, but feel free to come and join us!

Tickets are still available for London......I just bought two tickets and am driving two hours down to NYC and then flying to London to see the movie.....

and hopefully have a chance to say hello to the bandmembers....would be really awesome if they had an autograph signing, but am doubting this will happen...

Rock On and I'll be sure to let everyone here know how it went!
