PennyLane
I have some planets in Leo but none in Aries. It was a strange dream, partially indoors and partially outdoors. This is off subject but, "have you had your astrological planets mapped out from your birth?" When I was dating a Leo, we had it done. It was fun. Anyways, I was speaking about Robert being a Leo and I am an Aries. Dreams are interesting, one can always change the outcome.

It was a dream outdoors on hilly terrain near a river at night and the indoor interior was sparse and light. You would get along well with Robert. Aries and Leo are an ideal pair. I have had my astrological planets mapped, yes.

From all the years that I have been traveling, never met anyone or seen anyone who was famous. Hilly terrain looks familar from my office window at home with water on my property. Yes, I would get along wtih Robert.

Bitchin Soul
Bought a bunch of fresh flowers for the house. They smell great and really brighten things up. Baking a fresh turkey breast and it smells delicious. YUM YUM! Booked a trip over Christmas and New Years to go to Maui and Kiwauii. That means I do not have to drag all the Xmas stuff down from the attic. Aloha!! TGIF to all (Well Almost)

DeepBlackZeppelin
I never realized how much I appreciate a thread like this. I mean, it just hit me today, because I have groups of friends that I tend to sway back and forth to, and one group is very cynical and bland to the point of annoyance. I mean, they seriously criticized a positive friend of mine because they think she's completely lying about her emotions most of the time when she truly expresses her positive outlook on life. But she is a positive person, naturally. So, I didn't realize it until a favorite song of mine's came on the radio and I just sort of yelped cheerfully, "Oooh, I love this song". Only because of that, they looked at me as if I was a complete psychopathic maniac all because I had a positive reaction to something. Then I felt the positive energy dwindling downwards and my smile fading. Then, I just walked away, without their notice, and I just went to my positive friend and she gave me a pat and stated, "don't worry, some people like to drain happiness from others because they're way too miserable about little things." So, that made me happy today and I really appreciate this thread a lot more because a positive attitude from people really does make life's serendipitous moments more of a treat. ally
Thank you very much, even that smiley cheered me up tremendously. I really appreciate it Glad that your cheered up It's true though about misery loving company. Being around people like that just drags you down. They irony with those types is that they usually don't really have anything to complain about. Not so much a case of not seeing the forest for the tree as, won't see the forest for the trees . DeepBlackZeppelin
Thank you ally very much, I can always pick myself up and my friend did a great job at it too. but I never really notice that little things like that can really affect my day. And I like your trees metaphor, I never heard that one

And I like your trees metaphor, I never heard that one I've had plenty of practice using that one. Little things are what a day is all about. We take the good with the bad. Take it in stride and follow your own path. I've learned to accept some things that don't really matter in life and part of learning that was seperating myself from those who can't. By that I mean...people who bitch about nothing. And I mean, nothing. I save my energy for those that need real help or people who just simply have no one else in their lives. It's funny though, the ones that have real reason to complain, never do

MadScreamingGallery
An email from someone who I haven't heard from in years. The sentiments expressed touched me. I would share it but I don't know if this person reads this board. One line has stayed with me throughout the day and the thought of it has made me happy: "MSG, you have what everyone wants." And, no, he wasn't referring to material things. Not at all. (If you are reading this, thank you so much. Your message meant a lot to me. )
Footsteps of Dawn
^ Aw, that's nice! I talked to my best friend on the phone today...it made me happy that she's still just as big a dork as I am. It seems she's turned into a World of Warcraft geek recently...her boyfriend's a big gamer, and I guess it finally rubbed off on her, hehe. I've turned to different extremes lately, namely NASCAR, but it makes me feel better knowing while I sit there in front of my TV yelling, "Go Stewart!!!" she's sitting somewhere in front of her computer yelling, "Pick up the sword! Pick up the sword!" (or whatever it is they do in that game). We are a unique bunch.

PennyLane
I'm very happy today because I'm going to a B.B. King concert tomorrow night. You will love the concert - B.B. King is fantastic. Saw him back in 1989 or 1990 at the Fox Theater in Detroit - a 4 hour Blues Concert w/other musicians.

Saw him back in 1989 or 1990 at the Fox Theater in Detroit - a 4 hour Blues Concert w/other musicians. Sounds cool. I saw him quite a few years ago at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. Dressed up crowd in the Arts district and all that junk. The concert tomorrow is at a casino in Oklahoma, so it may be a whole different vibe this time. We're supposed to be about 8 rows from the front, so I'll definitely be closer!
