Well it was yesturday.

I went and saw Les Miserables in London, my dad didn't enjoy it but I thought it was fantastic. We didn't get back home until 2:30 in the morning!

Also I had no idea there was a Hard Rock Cafe in London!!

Wow nice show, JAL! Glad you liked it! Les Mis is great. There's a hit song from that show entitled "On My Own", sung by the the ill-fated character, Eponine :(. I figured since you're learning the guitar, the 1st chords are fairly EZ. haha. If you like, I'll post 'em later in the "Musician's Corner" subforum. Anyways, it's D, and then some more chords. Talk to ya later. :D

I went out for ladies' night last night with friends from high school. We had a blast. I drank cheap booze and laughed my ass off. I feel like crap today, but it was worth it. Totally worth it.

I'm probably going to go to Lake Tahoe with a friend from high school next weekend. I'm excited for that becuase I need a short trip that is kind of cheap. It will be semi-cheap becuase we're going to ride with her mom in her mom's car up there, (it's an 8 hour drive), and we are going to stay in her aunt's vacation rental home, so we don't have to pay for a hotel room.

Hope that you have a good time, Mandy, for a well deserved vacation break. :)

It will be quite exiting for us all, and a wonderful achievement for you to hit 1000 posts.

Because he will leave at that point?

That would make all of us happy!!! And finally make a positive contribution to this thread...

We can only hope.

Thanks. The one thing I feel a bit guilty about is that I may actually need a sub for the afternoon on Friday. I don't want to do it, especially since summer school doesn't really have substitutes, but you know, it's kind of a cheap vacation that I would have a lot of fun on. I'm sure I could get away with less than $200 spent, even giving my friend's mom some gas $.

I'm going to talk to the principal about it. They moved up the "departure time" from 5pm to 3pm becuase my friend's got a small child. I don't get out of school until 4, so I would only need one for a few hours.

I'm even thinking about just driving my car on my own up there, but I don't know--I'm not so sure about driving across Nevada by myself after working all day. I'm not too confident about being able to handle the boredom. ;)

Heh. What a freakin' troll, eh? I wouldn't be surprised to find out it was someone we all love to hate. <_<

Not sure if I mentioned already that we are off from work this week, but not going out of town ("Staycation") :) I met up with one of my friends for a good run and now am puttering around the house, getting ready to do some laundry and cleaning.

1. I found a sub--a friend of mine who is a great teacher. No worries. I get to go to Tahoe this weekend. ;)

2. My kids are INTO Romeo and Juliet! I was worried they wouldn't be into it! (Thank GOD, breathes a sigh of relief...)

3. I finally mowed the freakin' lawn. It was getting ridiculous.

4. I talked to an old friend tonight for quite some time. It was nice to catch up.

5. It was a beautiful evening. I spent most of it outdoors.

This weekend, I'm going with my family and a bunch of good friends (one whom I rarely see, from Europe, a close friend since high school days, many years ago) to see Judy Collins perform for free! :DLove that Judy Collins! Hope she does stuff from this ↓ album ("In My Life"), and "Wildflowers!"
