weslgarlic
Does anyone remember laughter ? This was an April fool 2009 story post by Bjork herself on her own website http://www.spin.com/articles/led-zeppelins-new-singer-bjork Bjork: In a website post this morning( 1 april 2009), the Icelandic singer announced she would step in for Robert Plant as vocalist for Led Zeppelin's world tour. But she has a few demands: The band only play songs from album I and IV, including classics like ??"Good Times Bad Times," "Dazed and Confused," and "Stairway to Heaven." Other more serious contenders mentioned at the time http://www.spin.com/articles/should-led-zeppelin-reunite

kaiser
I remember in 2002/2003 when I first joined the old Electric Magic forum that there was a thread about who Page should work with next, I suggested Bjork as I am a big fan of her's as she is a bit of a vocal gymnyst, writes the majority of her own music at least in skeletal form before it is fleshed out with a collaborator, & that she just has an unorthodox approach. I was nearly run off the forum. Mind you I also suggested Jack White & Dave Grohl too & was met with the same vitrol now 10 years later they're somehow acceptable for a Zep member to work with. Also at that time there was a thread of who would you like to hear cover Zep, I suggested Bjork covering "Immigrant Song" & almost a decade later Trent Reznor & Karen O did a version of it that was close to what I had in mind for Bjork. I'd still love to see Bjork play with Page or Jones but others here would rather they play with an Ian Gillen or Chris Cornell which would be just more of what they did before in watered down version.
