dpat
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what percussive instrument(s) were used for 'Boogie with Stu'? I've read where Page once said he had some sort of slapping effect on the guitar, but that might have been another part of the song and not the percussion. Anyone hear/read anything 'official'? The song has grown on me over the years; it's a great rockabilly boogie-woogie thing. All the best, Dpat
hecube
I seem to remember reading a long time ago that it was an old suitcase. I might be mistaken on that though...

dazedjeffy
^^^ You're probably thinking of the case tapping on Ramble On. Jimmy Page used an ARP 2500 on Boogie With Stu with a percussive sounds.
