Crunge
The funniest thing was from page was when you know in SIBLY when plant goes: "i've been crying etc" and theres a guitar break from Page, he thought he had fluffed it up and looked really pissed off with himself. But, in the boot recording it sounds awesome.

ledded1
Well, I remember in the Page/Plant tours he would sing the bare minimum during Black Dog, just holding out the mic to the audience. Same here with the addition of the downtuning. I think this is a song he doesn't have a lot of enthusiasm for anymore. Is that why he has sung it at the most if not all the Strange Sensation shows this past couple of years?
gazz
I agre with the original portsr. From the footage i've seen, there is NO interaction between RP and JP. And there are times when Jimmy tries to get it going and RP just doesnt respond. But maybe we'e all reading way too much into every little thing! willibee70
i realize i am so so lucky by having the chance to be there. and i have seen the footage (thanks Warby, you are awesome) I can see what everyone is saying, but from my well defended spot on the floor, it felt good watching. I cant give you specific moments really.. But there were a LOT of smiles. I think Plant was having a blast once he knew both his voice and his bandmates were up for the challenge. It is 2007 and this wasnt the 33rd show in 60days like back in the day. It was a different kind of show. But it was good for all of them from my spot. Lets all pray for a DVD so we can share the smiles together, ours and the bands.

Angel With A Broken Wing
From my view it took the first couple of songs for them to relax, but they were all drawn to Jason and there were some lovely moments. I thought Robert stood back a number of times and lets the boys get on with it, which is great. Overall my impression was of them having a great time and the sound they made was 10/10. JPJ was also an absolute star. There is no hiding in Zep just the four of them on stage and little technology unlike like a lot of current bands using things like pro tools and other triggered loops etc. I was very very impressed, probably the best gig I have been to and I do go to one or two! Vids and photo's here. http://www.team-skinny-racing.com/ Cheers Warby I've seen other people here mention pro tools....what is it? I was at the front row, and they were loving it, i think twice they hugged one another. although it had to be said that jonesy joining in looked like an after thought! They looked thoroughly intent with what they were doing, but what struck me was that they didn't seem too emotional about leaving the stage. As if to say: "We're not done with this just yet." The amount of eye contact i got of ALL the band members was fantastic! Jonesy gave me a grin. Jimmy smiled at me when he mucked up a bit. Robert pointed to his eye at us when me and my sis were getting teary eyed! Fantastic. I am sooo jealous

ledded1
Those who saw Zep before would know that they were never big huggers on stage during a show. I didn't really see anything different on Monday. Jonesy stays where he is and away from the limelight and RP & JP. Robert always roams the stage and it was a big stage to roam. Why get in Jimmy's way and vice versa? To me this is really people trying to read too much into every look, move or step. They were fantastic thats all that needs to be said. The Rover
During the great performance of "Kashmir"... when the high bright guitar refrain comes in, Robert, casts his arms downward. In 1977, he cast his arms upward during that refrain. The O2 downward thrust of the arms -- A subtle hint, as if to say "I'm putting all of this Zeppelin stuff away"... or something like that....?? I hope that I am wrong about my interpretation of Robert's body language in the song "Kashmir"....
mos6507
Is that why he has sung it at the most if not all the Strange Sensation shows this past couple of years? He does still have a token obligation to please his fans, you know. With something like this they can practically sing the whole damn thing so it's an easy throwaway. MistressTyreah
I've been doing nothing since 12/10! C'mon everybody: If we imagine it, they will come! I agree with you wholeheartedly. Fukk a Swan Song! Everyone who was at the O2 wants this to be the last show. But I say they can do better. Better venues with better sound, no feedback on the mikes. I canot get good idea of any solos from Jimmy by what we hear on You Tube. They dont have to tour but just do one off gigs here and there. MistressTyreah
yes exactly !!! but i still bloody read them Valley girl you are easily depressed. Many of us, MOST OF US, were not there and the band has been silent. What do you expect ? People want to know if the band as a whole truly enjoyed this experience. That is the only indication of whether or not they will ever do this again.
BabyIsSkying
A lot of people think Jonesy is kind of out of things in the band but I actually caught him and Robert having a kiss and it looked like the tongue was going in. Trust me, this band have never been closer. Well, I'm thrilled to hear they're back on kissing terms. "I'm not getting on your case, and you have to ask these questions, but I'm not married to Jonesy. He hasn't kissed me on the mouth for years." -Playboy Magazine interview 2005

I have to say, i am a little disappointed at the complete lack of any feedback from the band about he gig! Considering millions wanted to go, considering the worldwide interest, surely some sort of statement is in order? And, Robert.....if you have NO intention of doing anymore, come out and say so!
