ZEPFAN17 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I am asking for a book on Led Zeppelin for Christmas, does anyone have any suggestions on the best book out there? I don't want a shitty one. is When Giants Walked the Earth worthy of Led Zeppelin? Quote
Mudbugclub Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I just got Led Zeppelin Feather In The Wind Over Europe 1980 which is a great read. Dave Lewis has written a few other Zeppelin books as well. http://www.tightbutloose.co.uk/tblweb09/?page_id=9965 Quote
jb126 Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Have read the "trashy" ones and the Hoskyns one. All entertaining, but as you'll read in the forum reviews, you cannot believe everything you read. I have Dave Lewis's "Led Zeppelin:The Concert File" and refer to it quite a bit. Tried to order his "Feather" book, but it is not available at the online site I purchase from. Thanks for reminding me about that one. Quote
LedZebedee Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I could'nt put down Mick Wall's book! He does'nt pull any punches and tells it like it is - warts and all! Highly recommended! Quote
