the chase
Jack Klugman was also in the classic Henry Fonda film 12 Angry Men.. No disrespect to the great Walter Matthau, but Klugman owned Oscar Madison. Rest In Peace Oscar Madison.
zepscoda
So sad, I loved him the most in the Twilight Zone and have seen all the Odd Couple episodes a few times over.....come to think of it, how ahead of its time was Quincy, when you look at all the current Hospital shows that litter the prime time network landscape. A sad day... They tried to remake it in the 80's. Casting Demond Wilson (Lamont Sanford) as Osacr. What a miserable failure? Nobody could fill the shoes of Jack Klugman. http://www.nndb.com/tv/365/000083116/

Anjin-san
>Charles Durning died today too.> He was among the first wave of U.S. soldiers to land at Normandy during the D-Day invasion and the only member of his Army unit to survive. He killed several Germans and was wounded in the leg. Later he was bayoneted by a young German soldier whom he killed with a rock. He was captured in the Battle of the Bulge and survived a massacre of prisoners. In later years, he refused to discuss the military service for which he was awarded the Silver Star and three Purple Hearts. RIP Jack and Charles,....
