Sad...glad he told his story, so many untold stories that we need to know about. The Blu Ray comes out March 5th.

When I was working at a hospital in the Bay Area many years ago,I would occasionally come across patients with the tattoos on their arms. Very sobering. They usually didn't want to talk about them, but rather about what was going on with themselves currently.

I guess maybe sometimes the best, or only, revenge is survival... outlive the bastards...

the mother of my son's doctor is a Auschwitz escapee, she was 11 at the time. She was the subject of a PBS documentary a few years ago and shared her story. As Lake of Shadows points out her approach to life "all is right now, life is now for the living- live now...live."

I think anyone surviving the Nazi juggernaut is a good thing, from the death camps to the Battle Of The Bulge.

A Mother to her son fighting the Nazi's: 'Please be careful!'

The sons reply:

'You can't be careful, only lucky!'

May all those murdering bastards rot in hell forever.
