darrin_h2000
A band called "No Quarter" was the very best Ive ever seen...the worst..."Houses of the Holy" (The one touring with Austrailian Pink Floyd)...they had 5 members...the Plant had brown short hair...and they didnt even try to have the look...plus the equipment they were using...Ibenez guitars??? darrin_h2000
I saw this Led Zeppelin tribute band called Kashmir a few years back in Boston they were ok.. http://www.forgefest...ibute-band.html Great on many counts...but a few flaws...Robert would sing through a Shure 545 or an SM57...but a wireless...lol. Bonzo would never let them close mic his drum kit...one bass drum mic (Beyer M80) and 2 Overheads (Neumann u87s) But they were really good... jb126
I have seen three. One was many years ago when I was in my twenties and don't remember much of the show. Saw "Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience" and loved it. Lot of energy from the band and very emotional at times. Recently saw "Get the Led Out". Great time. They played songs to the studio version very very well, which required eight guys on stage for some songs . They played a few that I wasn't expecting like "Fool in the Rain", "Your Time is Gonna Come" and "Tangerine". I don't have a "worst" entry as I haven't seen that many. TheVitalianDrummer
Can't say much as the only tribute band I've seen before is this smaller one called Zoso, in Plymouth actually. It was pretty good. http://zosoontour.com/?vm=r&s=1 Has anyone ever seen a tribute band play Achilles' Last Stand?
GottaFindMyGirl
I'd say Zoso is the best, though it's the only one I've seen live. Amazing performance, and I had the privilege to shake hands with all of them after the show. Very kind and talented people, highly recommended if they ever come to your area. Amstel
ZOSO ( from California) and Prezence (from Chicago) are the best I've ever seen. Greg Thompson from ZOSO is an absolute beast on drums. Greg plays very good crossovers, and plays with ONE bass pedal. He does John Bonham better than Jason! If you don't believe me check this out - Edited February 12, 2013 by Amstel

Amstel
I saw this Led Zeppelin tribute band called Kashmir a few years back in Boston they were ok.. http://www.forgefest2012.com/p/kashmir-zep-tribute-band.html This band is from the Chicagoland area. I've seen them twice, and didn't like either performance. This video you posted, JOHNNYROCKER, is from The Taste Of Polonia. It's an annual Polish festival that takes place at Copernicus Center, which is on the NW side of Chicago. I go to this festival at least once every year - great food, sexy polish women! , and normally good bands.
gettinggold
http://classicalbumslive.com/ They aren't really tribute band but play amazing Zeppelin, note for note, cut for cut. Some amazing musicians.
Hats off to Led Zeppelin
I have seen quite a few Zep tribute bands over here in the UK, but I have to say that I think my one is definitely the best! ; ) I am the drummer for Hats off to Led Zeppelin and I think we do a great job of capturing that Zep magic, excitement and energy. Check us out! http://www.hatsofftoledzeppelin.co.uk Here is a recent video: http://www.youtube.com/embed/XROM7UV7uO4 Edited March 10, 2013 by Hats off to Led Zeppelin
Hats off to Led Zeppelin
Oops! Sadly the Youtube link I posted doesn't work! Here is a better clip of the UK's best tribute to the mighty Led Zeppelin: Check us out at www.hatsofftoledzeppelin.co.uk See you on tour! Hats off to Led Zeppelin are the only UK tribute band endorsed by Marshall Amplification and we are also managed by Warren Grant, son of the legendary Peter Grant. SozoZoso
My sister has been telling me about these guys, "The Rubber Plants", I've never heard of them till now. I think they're from N. Ireland so we're planning to see them (I never seen a Led Zep tribute band before)
Pagesbow
Well, the best Zeppelin tribute band has to be Mr Jimmy - seeing as they feature Jimmy's long lost illegitimate son - Jimmy Sakurai. The actual Jimmy is apparently a fan...having seen them in Tokyo; as reported on Ross Halfin's website... http://www.rosshalfin.com/diary/october-2012/diary-october-2012.php http://www.mrjimmy.jp/english.htm Edited April 29, 2013 by Pagesbow
