Incredibly remaining one shy of Margaret Court's record of 24 Grand Slam titles. For five years, I was resigned to the fact that Serena would tie and then surpass Court's record. But, somehow she kept getting stymied and upset by one woman after another. After every loss, I would raise a toast to the tennis gods. Thank you. Tonight, I do so again. Margaret Court is safe for another year. Will this really be the end for Serena or will she change her mind and come back again?
