Nate Harris
So i love listening to led zeppelin...but now i have a problem...because i love there style so much its been hard for me to find any new bands to listen to...Im trying to find a newer band or at least one who still is on tour and that to start listening to...so i can get excited about going to a concert...Some other music i do like is Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili peppers, The Doors, Muse, and Pearl Jam...But yeah...i want to find something with a Led Zeppelin type sound...i know there probably isnt another Jimmy...but i would like to hope there is and i just dont know it yet. FunkyPhantom
jack white's I'm Bound To Pack It Up sounds like something that could have easily been on Led Zeppelin 3. But, for a band that kinda sounds like zep, look up RIval Suns. Pressure and Time kinda rips on Out on the Tiles a bit, but their other stuff such as Torture and Until the Sun Comes...its just fantastic. Regardless, there will never be another Zep or anything comparable IMO

Amstel
MAD SEASON Mad Season was a side project that consisted of Mike McCready (Peral Jam), Layne Staley (Alice In Chains), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees), and John Baker Saunders (The Walkabouts). They only put out one release, but there were discussions on further concerts and albums, which never happened due to the deaths of Staley and Saunders. McSeven
Rival Sons. All the way, they are the closest to the Zeppelin vibe out of all the bands out there right now. I saw them last Saturday and it was like watching Zeppelin at the Royal Albert Hall. They are on tour right now. If you have a chance to see them go. They have even met Jimmy Page and he gave them a ringing endorsement in a recent Rolling Stone magazine interview. They dress like hippies. They look normal. They have 4 recording out. An Ep. Before the Fire/Pressure and Time/Head Down. You can look them up on You Tube. The song that have a Zeppelin like feel from them are. Pressure and Time/Manifest Destiny/Gypsy Heart/Soul/Sleepwalker. They really are great. If you want I can try to link some podcasts to you in private that you can hear interviws from the band. I was introduced to them about a year ago. My friend sent me a link and I was hooked. Even more so now. I can't get enough of these guys. You have to check them out. They are really that great and they will be the next big thing. I saw them in Jan of 2012 and they were great. I just saw them Feb 2013. The club was packed. It was epic and like I said it was like watching Zeppelin at the Royal Albert hall. Another band would be Wolfmother. Let me know if you want more Rival Sons info. They have a website called Rival Sons.com
reswati
Saw this band some time ago, although they had no vocalist they were immensely impressive. Here is a happy little song they used a vocalist for:

Seems that this band is the only band I ever heard of whose legal vinyl is more expensive than their bootlegs, lol (jeez, 250 bucks for a double lp on ebay, damn!!!!) Thanx for posting. Sagittarius Rising
^ I like the music but the singer reminds me of Geoff Tate from Queensryche. Not that he is not good, he just sounds a bit too serious for my tastes.
