His performance at Woodstock in 1969 catapulted him into the front ranks of the period's British guitar heroes, which included Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Pete Townshend.

In an image from the 1973 book "Rock Dreams," he and those four others are pictured in tuxedos carrying guitar cases into a building.

I really want see this pic but when you google Rock Dreams you get a bunch of other pics from the book. They are really cool paintings. Anyone have it and if so, could you PLEASE post it!

I have the german edition of the book with the eight super posters... don't recall the photo you mention. The one with Mama Cass haunts me still, it haunts me and taunts me so.... need to un-remember that one.

only one I remember of four people carrying anything is this one- I don't see a tux so... Guy's website may have one.

It is a painting of Jimmy,Alvin, Eric,Pete & Jeff dressed as mobsters carrying "violin" cases into bar, from what I remeber,
