Littllepp
I have a question about a copy of Led Zeppelin lll that I recently purchased. It's a US pressing, has the 1841 Broadway, New York, N.Y. at the bottom of the label, SD 7201, and the code written in the dead wax is ST A702005-1B CTH (side A) and ST A702006-1B CTH (side . I know that copies of this album have "Do what thou wilt" and "So mote be it" written in the dead wax but it is not in the dead wax of the copy that I bought. For what reason would this not be written in the dead wax?
Glyn
My copy doesn't have it either, I have a later pressing of the album. The "do what thou wilt" and "so mote be it" only showed up in the early pressings. The CTH in the matrix refers to the Columbia Records pressing plant in Terra Haute, IN. Pepper
Apparently it's only on the first pressings of the album and is quite rare now click here http://www.discogs.com/Led-Zeppelin-Led-Zeppelin-III/release/2019920 to see more details.
