They ran the riff-raff out of downtown but if you go around the outer parts of town on the Missouri side its full of nut jobs. You just try to get gas and people beg for cigarette money and try to sell you electronics. It really is a better place than most I've been to. You just have to know where not to go. Kansas City is actual half in Kansas and half in Missouri for some reason. The Kansas side is a nice place you could raise a family. The Missouri side is not so much. You could probably pick up a hooker on the corner of 12th Street and Vine.
