The Rest in Peace Thread

I am rather surprised that no one mentioned the passing of Phil Chess of the legendary Chess records, back in October 2016 (thank you so bloody much, Mr. Grim Reaper! )

I got to know of it only now, thanks to the 'In Memoriam' segment of this year's Grammy Awards.

Without Chess Records, we may never have gotten the opportunity to feast our ears on the music of Blues legends such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, etc. The contributions of him and his brother Leonard to the world of the Blues are staggering!

Bill Paxton has gone to that Big Twister in the Sky. He was in it for the science. Game over man, game over.

Fuck. I just talked to him two weeks ago. 61 ain't old...and I didn't even think he was that old. He seemed more like my age.

R.I.P. Bill. :(

R.I.P. to Clyde, Al, and all the others I've missed the last couple of weeks.
